Assessment:
Your assessment is comprised of a theory and practical test. Prior to the day, you will need to read and study the DPI Workbook and complete the self test questions at the end of each section.
After some revisions on the day with Bill, you will ready to sit your theory test which will take approximately one hour.
Upon successful completion of the theory component, Bill conducts the practical training and assessment of 11 tasks.
Bill conducts the practical part on his boat or yours. An interim Skippers Ticket will be issued upon successful completion of both parts.
Bill's Boat:
- 5.3 metre aluminium Savage Lancer with a 70hp outboard motor
- Excellent training boat licensed to carry up to six people
- Easy to drive with minimal training
- Protection from the sun and wind
- Safe and comfortable
